Whether this is a new journey or a returning one – welcome! I am a registered Social Worker and Clinical Therapist with a background in addiction recovery, perinatal/postpartum mental health, anxiety, self-esteem, and trauma treatment related to domestic violence, narcissistic abuse, and sexual assault.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in understanding, trust, and compassion, and harm reduction as I support individual, couples, and families move forward in a positive and empowering way.
I use a combination of talk therapy and somatic therapy approaches including: Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), trauma informed stabilization treatment (TIST), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I take a trauma-informed, harm reduction, and anti-oppressive approach to working with clients from all walks of life.
